The new rules have troubled the Sikkim tourism that created a hub for all the visitors. Tourists were amazed to see the restrictions on Sunday night.
The new guidelines for the tourist’s entry are that they will get the entry if there is double vaccination done. If not there will not be an allowance to enter Sikkim.
Few tourists are claiming that they do not have a negative RTPCR report to show let’s see what will happen. The smooth functioning of Sikkim Tourism has disappeared somewhere as of now. Various tourists are not supporting these guidelines by the Sikkim government.
They have currently two major rules one is RTPCR mandatory and other than this odd and even rules for both two and four-wheelers are still on in Sikkim. Many tourists are opposing this decision of the Sikkim Government.
There is also a ban on the manufacture of the use of water bottles without doing any alternative arrangements for travelers. No safe drinking water available is causing issues among travelers.
Due to Covid, 19 such major changes are being made and currently, it will remain as such.
